Gallery Alley

Commissioned to produce a community-led ground mural on the brick pavers in Gallery Alley, a placemaking project in Downtown, Wichita.

As part of this project, our final design was inspired by content and photos submitted by the community which reflect the theme of “transformation,” and showcase the dynamic quality of cities and the people who live in them. The public's collaboration and participation painting the mural has transformed this once empty space into a collective work of art we all can enjoy together.

This project was funded by the Knight Foundation Fund at the Wichita Community Foundation, other projects partners included Bokeh Development and the Wichita Downtown Development Corporation.
